Another cold night

I'm in Tacoma WA tonight. It's been so cold everywhere lately. But at least it's just a little wet tonight. I remember leaving out of here once last year.while it was snowing. I know it snows here. But just think it's weird when it snows this close to the beach. Kind of like when I was working in Las Vegas years ago and it snowed downtown. You just don't expect it.

I wanted to try to visit with my wife's brother and his family last night, but didn't get up to their area until about 9pm last night. Was thinking about trying to visit today if I got a load headed south, but after delivering this.afternoon I came to the truck stop and have been here ever since. Man I really wish these.people would tell me when they had nothing. Hell I have an uncle that lives on an island by Seattle. If I'd known I was going to be staying here, I'd have tried to get together with them. But by the time I realize that I'm not going anywhere. It's to late to use the ferry on or off the island.

I need to just start planning stuff. When the company says that they have a run for me, I can say. Mange you shoulda said something ahead of time.

The same problem I've had with most companies. The lack of planning. I really wish I could make plans. And all I need to be able to do that. Is to know what's next.

At least there's a couple of repeaters I like up here. So guess I'm going to jump on the microphone and say hi to someone.
