I was suppose to go to Washington State for orientation with a new job, but I made the mistake of bringing up the fact that I had a back surgery in the past. Long story short, the company wants me to do a physical agilities test. But for now I'm out of work. But it gives me a little down time, and the ability to spent some time on the internet.
One of the things that I found is a bidding war to build a light rail system from Las Vegas NV. to Phoenix AZ. which they're saying will run down the Colorado River, straight down to between Phoenix and Los Angeles. Where you would transfer to an east, west train. but the one out of Vegas would come right through here.
My wife has to take my son to Phoenix every couple of months, Which it's 200 miles to Phoenix. And the new job I'm suppose to go to is probably going to want me to go to Phoenix for this physical Agilities test. It's getting expensive to make this trip to Phoenix. And unfortunitly there's no real public transportation out of Lake Havasu. So having a high speed train,:-) Oh yeah. did I forget to mention the high speed part.;) Would be so nice. But with my luck.:( I wont be needing it by the time it's here.
