Just stopped at one of the local cheaper priced stations. 3.79 a gallon. Was planning on putting $30 in the tank. But started the pump, cleaned my windshield and the pump clicked off?
Went to check it out. Yep, you guessed it. Almost 16 gallons at just over $60. In modern terms, WTF?
Anyone remember back when gas was like $1 a gallon you'd have time to clean all the windows and maybe Polish the wheels while you were filling the tank. But at $3.79 a gallon you'd better watch that pump. Cause it flows like a race car jug now.
Sorry but I came unprepared for this post. But everyone out there is blaming BIG OIL for these prices. But next time you go to the pump. Check out that sticker on the pump that shows the breakdown of the gallon of gas. Big oil gets less then 10 cents while big government get over 70 cents. AGAIN WTF?
Think it's time to tell big government we're tires of taxation without representation. These people are spending our money like drunken sailors in a whore house.
Absolutely no disrespect to the drunken sailors or the prostitutes. At least they earn there wages. But something needs to be done about these scumbag criminals in Washington.
We didn't pay nearly the taxes to the Queen before moving to a different country to escape those taxes.
